Madeline was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at age 50.

Madeline came from a large Italian family, and her family and close friends were everything to her. She was fun, loving, and unselfish and put everyone’s needs ahead of her own. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. When she was not taking care of her family, she loved decorating, landscaping and taking care of her many
flowers in her beautifully manicured yard.

Unfortunately, she faced many of the complications related to type 2 diabetes such as heart disease, impaired vision, blood vessel blockages, and kidney problems. However, she was strong and brave in confronting them and continued to find joy in working in her yard until her early 80’s. She fought a courageous and long battle with the disease for 36 years, until 2 days shy of her 86th birthday.

She blessed the lives of those she touched and instilled in them her wisdom, love and values. She will be forever missed but never forgotten.
